About the project
Vila Carnaúba is a place to slow down and live everyday life with your toes in the sand, at Praia do Preá, one of the best kitesurfing destinations in the world, with constant winds for seven months of the year and warm water all year round. The development grew out of nature, wind and water and is no longer merely a plan: its infrastructure is in place, homes have been completed and it is already operational.
Amenities and facilities
The community brings together a sports club with tennis courts, beach tennis and a multi-sport court; a Kite Club operated by Rancho do Kite, with delivery scheduled for the 2027 season; a Sunset Club with bar, restaurant, gym, saunas and a Beach Club on Lagoa Sunset; a Kids Club; a Spa by Anantara, scheduled for 2028; and nine freshwater lagoons a few steps from every residence.
Hotel & Spa Anantara Preá
Vila Carnaúba was chosen to host the first Anantara Hotel in the Americas, scheduled to open in 2028. It will have 70 suites and a presidential bungalow, a pool exclusively for guests, bars, restaurants and the Anantara Spa, also available to residents. Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas was founded in Thailand in 2001 and is present in more than 40 destinations around the world.
Houses and new phase
Following the success of phase 1, with 100% of the lagoon-side plots sold, Vila Carnaúba is presenting 32 new plots around two new lagoons, with areas between 788 m² and 1,296 m². A portfolio of homes is also being developed in partnership with Una BV and architect Miguel Pinto Guimarães’s studio, with optional interior packages available at an additional cost.
